Prior to being named Chief Marketing & Creative Officer of New York Sports Club (NYSC), Kari Saitowitz Founded and was CEO of Fhitting Room.
Kari positioned Fhitting Room for a transformational acquisition that delivers incredible growth for both NYSC and Fhitting Room. Ten new Fhitting Room locations will open across NYSC flagship markets including New York, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
Kari is currently leading NYSC in a brand comeback, bringing all NYSC brands together under one in both name and online/social introducing a new brand identity while also developing partnerships with brands and creating activations within the clubs that build upon the NYSC mission of changing lives through fitness.
Prior to creating Fhitting Room, Kari was a marketing executive at Pepsi. She focused on building equity for powerhouse brands and launching new product innovations. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she graduated with honors, and she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
GUEST: FELICIA ALEXANDER of TITLE Boxing Club and Co-Founder of BoxUnion
Felicia is a graduate of Stanford University and the UCLA Anderson School of Business, and had successful careers as a sales and marketing executive for companies including Sun Microsystems, Sony, Mattel, and Leaf Group. While climbing her way up the corporate ladder, her passion for fitness remained as she constantly recruited friends and members of her team to come together through fitness.
In 2016, she took a leap of faith and left corporate America to chase her childhood dream of empowering the community through boxing and helping others discover their true greatness through fitness — no matter their age or ability. Alongside her business partner, Todd Wadler, Alexander launched BoxUnion in 2017 which acquired TITLE Boxing Club in 2021 to form the biggest omni-channel brand in the global fitness boxing market. In February of 2022, Alexander was appointed to the Board of Directors for Rock Steady Boxing.
